Alta Equipment Company is offering an Industrial Equipment Technician Program aimed for entry-level mechanics. The program is in partnership with Macomb Community College and consists of 24 technician / mechanic related classes through their Automotive school. The program develops the skills and knowledge needed as a mechanic in both the classroom and the shop.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED Certification and will maintain a 3.0 GPA while attending classes at Macomb Community College. The classes consist of both lecture and hands-on lab.
Upon completion of the program Alta Equipment will provide the opportunity to become a full-time forklift service technician at one of our 20 locations.
