Seeking Heavey Equipment Power Washer for the Davie, Florida Branch

The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:

• Power wash and steam clean small and large construction equipment
• Clean cabs and detail new construction equipment
• Locate equipment to power wash and steam clean
• Maintain power wash bay equipment
• Maintain and keep power wash bay clean and orderly
• Incorporating Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time
• Power Washer Specialists are provided company uniforms

• Less than one year of previous power washing experience is preferred
• Must be able to be trained to operate heavy equipment safely
• Must be able to write brief descriptions on work performed and complete daily time card
• Must be able to work in a fast paced atmosphere with many other people
• Language Skills - Basic: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Mathematical Skills - Minimal: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Reasoning Ability - Minimal: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

• Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms,talk/hear, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste/smell; Occasionally will sit.
• Lift and/or Move Functions: Regularly will lift up to 10 pounds; Frequently will lift 11 to 25 pounds; Occasionally will lift from 26 to 100 plus pounds.
• Work Environment: Regularly will work in wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, vibration; Frequently will work in high & precarious places, in extreme cold or heat (non-weather related); Occasionally will be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
