Our Dock and Door Group is currently looking for a full time Overhead Door Technician for our Ronkonkoma, NY branch.   Technicians/installers will be part of the installation and service team for Commercial/Industrial/High Speed Doors, Door Operating Systems, Gate Operating Systems and Dock Leveling Systems. Most commercial installation work is done on new construction or replacement of existing Doors, Gates or Docks. Our Industrial Equipment Group is seeking a full-time Service Administrator for our Battle Creek, MI branch. This position will ensure the work order process is being managed and completed in an efficient and accurate manner. The goals are to assist the service manager throughout the work day and take care of our customer and technician needs. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to: - Provide open work orders to the service manager. - Obtain purchase order (PO) number from the customer if the customer's protocol is to give out PO's. - Input technician job repair write ups located on the internal calendar system. This will be done daily on all jobs that are completed and in process. - Prepare all work orders ready to close for the service manager to review once the job is completed. - Have all work orders closed 2 days after the job is completed. - Responsible for all time entries and payroll for the shop and field technicians. Our construction equipment group is seeking a full-time heavy equipment shop service diesel technician / mechanic with the classification of Shop Technician  for our Bedford, OH branch. This is a union position and will be part of Operating Engineers Local 18.   A Shop Technician  is qualified to successfully, efficiently, and accurately perform the cleaning, maintenance, visual inspection, removal, installation with the help of proper manuals, disassembly, assembly, parts reuse evaluation, reconditioning, ordering the correct parts, and report writing on all machine systems (engines, electrical, hydraulic, and power trains); as well as the measuring, adjusting, diagnosing, testing, troubleshooting and equipment failure analysis requirements  for the majority of equipment the Company sells or specialized area, with minimum supervision. Also, a Shop Technician  may be asked to perform minor welding and fabricating repairs.  A Shop Technician  must be or become (new hires) Volvo Level 3 certified. Our construction equipment group is seeking a full-time Resident field service diesel technician / mechanic with the classification of Field Technician. This position will be guaranteed at least 10 hours/day working out of our customer's site on a daily basist in the Columbus, OH territory. This is a union position and will be part of Operating Engineers Local 18.   A Field Technician  must be familiar with and able to diagnose and repair any systems problem that occurs for the majority (greater than 50%) of equipment the Company sells. A Field Technician 2 is qualified to perform the cleaning, maintenance, visual inspection, removal, installation successfully, efficiently, and accurately with the help of proper manuals, report writing and the disassembly, assembly, parts reuse evaluation, reconditioning, ordering the correct parts, measuring, adjusting, diagnosing, testing, troubleshooting and equipment failure analysis of their assigned Service department or specialized area, with minimal technical assistance. Also, a Field Technician  may be asked to perform minor welding, fabricating, and machining repairs. A Field Technician  must become Sennebogen / Doosan certified within 1 year of employment. A Field Technician  will be required to maintain CDL-B endorsement on their driver license and a clean driving record in accordance with the Company’s insurance carrier’s requirements. Also, a Field Technician 2 may be asked to perform minor welding, fabricating, and machining repairs. A Field Technician 2 must become Volvo Level 3 certified. After 24 months, you will be evaluated by a review committee to determine whether you are capable of receiving the Shop Tech 3 classification.
